It has been incredibly busy on the water lately, and we are finally taking a moment to catch up and share some updates from our recent charters. The Lake Erie fishery has been performing beautifully, delivering the consistent, high-quality catches that make Port Clinton the premier destination for anglers nationwide. We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Mike Emerson all the way from Wisconsin aboard our 30-foot Sportcraft. Welcoming out-of-state guests is always a highlight, and Mike's trip was no exception. We navigated to the active schools, and our efforts were rewarded with some fantastic catches, demonstrating exactly why people travel hundreds of miles to experience these world-class waters. What We Are Seeing on the Water The lake is currently showing us the absolute finest it has to offer. Here is a quick breakdown of what we are encountering on our daily outings: Consistent Walleye Patterns: The fish are holding in their classic seasonal depths, responding well to both trolling and drift-and-cast techniques depending on daily weather and water clarity.
